It was hard to tell whether this donkey was protecting its territory or giving a welcoming case. Donkey whisperers might know. It might have been just curious. It might regularly pose for photos and has learned to enjoy the limelight. And then, maybe it was contemplating the role of his kind, in the Easter Season, on Palm Sunday - March 25 in South Central Kentucky - when Jesus made his triumphal entry into Jerusalem, riding, Christians believe, on the back of a donkey. We like to think it enjoyed the attention. EW/LW
