This mourning dove sitting on a wire in the heavy rain yesterday, Saturday, March 24, 2018, seemed to fit a stoic mood of the day, but even more so after looking at the entry in Wikipedia and learning that mourning doves are mistakenly called "turtle doves, and correctly also called "rain doves," befitting the weather.
