An upside down snow? Melting from the ground up

In all my years I've yet to see a snow like this one, with the ground mostly visible while every limb and rooftop above the ground is completely snow covered. I really didn't want to distract from Sharon Whitehurst's pictures of wonderful Willis the Cat basking in the warm sunshine, nor Wayne Baxter's perfect Daffodils surrounded by pure Kentucky countryside, however, this interesting snow style did beg to be noticed and marked down. - LW
