LWC's Alexis Kessler 1st first two-time NAIA National champion!

2018-03-03 - Columbia, KY - Photo from Lindsey Wilson College.
Alexis Kessler is the granddaughter of Edward & Linda Kessler of Columbia, KY, and the daughter of Timothy Kessler and Lori Dennison Kessler, Lexington, KY. She has many relatives in Adair and surrounding counties who are very proud of her and now, even more so, since the amazing sophomore from Lexington became the first two-time national champion in LWC swimming program history. Kessler captured the 50 free title Thursday, March 2, 2018, with a time of 23.36 seconds. She captured the 100 fly title Friday, March 3, 2018, with a time of 56.07 which was .92 seconds faster than her preliminary heat time earlier in the day. Kessler picked up 20 team points with the victory. - From LWC Athletics
