This is one of the most feared creatures in the Great Wooded South. No one has ever seen one move but anyone who has ever been in the deep, dark woods at night has heard them. Firefighters, Coon hunters and the brave or ignorant who go traipsing through the boggy, soggy bottomlands alongside streams and rivers after dark have heard them. They, and indeed we, have heard them at night grunting like crazed Rhinos and munching on anything living or dead that would fit inside their oversized mouths. - Billy Joe Fudge Comments:
