Entering Glens Fork, KY from Hwy 768

2018-02-01 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
After the mid-January snow a couple of weeks back, roads were cleared but freezing temperatures meant the snow blanketed the landscape for a few more days. This picture-postcard scene looking toward downtown Glens Fork, KY shows the hills and sky of winter in afternoon sun. At the bottom of the hill we had a choice of turning left on Hwy 55 South Road and going to Lake Cumberland in Russell County, or turning right and heading home to Columbia. The warmth of home won out on January 16, 2018. - LW
