Exhibit at KY Military History museum honors Geo. M. Chinn

"George M. Chinn: Sights Set on Innovation" tells Chinn's story from his early childhood in Frankfort, when he showed an innate mechanical aptitude, through a military career that made him one of the most-sought-after military weapons innovators in the United States. 'As a member of the U.S. Marine Corps in the 1940s and 1950s, Chinn led the compilation of a five-volume history of the machine gun and its development that established his expertise in the field.' Regular exhibit hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9amCT/10amET to 4pmCT/5pmET.
