2017-08-27 - From Trabue-Russell House, 201 Jamestown Street, to Historic Adair Courthouse, 500 Public Square, Columbia, KY .

The meticulously maintained - by the Adair County Garden Club - late summer/fall flowers at the Trabue-Russell House were the main attraction at the site on a perfect August 26, 2017, but it's also a year round scenic overlook for a wonderful view of the historic Adair County Courthouse. From this perspective, it appears to back up to solid woodland - at least in the Pooh Bear concept. The mission, assigned by Mary Knight, was to see the work of the Adair County Garden Club, Trabue House battalion's care of the gardens and grounds, which we awarded Five Wows! on a Five Wow scale, recommending a visit today while the best ever weather continues. - LW/EW
