Dr. Pam Stephens: District ready for school start 10 Aug 2017

2017-07-27 - Adair County School District Conference Room, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com(c).
Dr. Pam Stephens, Adair County School Superintendent, above, studies notes. She enumerated several pre-school events leading up to the return of students to the campus on Thursday, August 10, 2017. She, school maintenance and grounds director David Jones, and Mike Sparkman, the school's architectural consultant, all had good news on the readiness of the facilities on opening day, including new lighting along campus drives, new air conditioning and a new roof at Adair County High School, and more as the physical transformation of the school grounds over the past few years has given Adair County more good press around the state than it has ever received.
