Taylor County Elementary School demolition - 25 Jul 2017

2017-07-25 - Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, Manager, The Big Dawg, 99.9FM.
This FDR era building was a part of "the New Deal" and today is being demolished after the new Taylor County Intermediate School was constructed on Broadway and the new state of the art Taylor County High School was constructed on Highway 210 under Superintendent Roger Cook and Taylor County taxpayers. This property on Lebanon Ave will make way for the Green County Kentucky Tech School Satellite Campus. The property is owned by Taylor County Schools and will offer many people the opportunity to further their educational skills. This is another example of a county bursting with pride, along with our renovated Main Street and other efforts to beautify our county and city and attract quality jobs for our people. - LARRY SMITH, Gen. Manager, The Big Dawg, 99.9 FM
