Adair County School Board Chair Lisa Burton and Becky Bailey in a light hearted exchange following the board's election of Dr. Pamela Stephens, superintendent, to the traditional superintendent's role of Secretary to the Board. Bailey had temporarily been assigned the duty as Dr. Stephens was in transition from interim Superintendent to Superintendent. From left, above, are Becky Bailey, Dr. Stephens, Chair Lisa Burton (Div 3), Coleman Hurt, board attorney; and board members Jonathan Gaskins (4), and Terry Harvey (1). The session covered several important decisions, and was concluded 28 minutes after it was called to order by the chair. Board members Mike Harris (Div 5) and Daniel Adams (2), and ACHS Student Board Member Lauren McQuaide were not present for the meeting.- Ed Waggener
