Epicurean Kentuckian: Fish as it's fried in Breeding, KY (AdPhoto)

2017-07-14 - Breeding Country Mart, 14332 Burkesville Road, Breeding, KY - Photo submitted by Sheri Norris.
It's Available off the menu every day - Fried Fish plates at the Breeding Country Mart. Cooked just before serving. Those who have learned that the best place to get the best fish at a community or church shindig is to make friends with the fishmeister, and get the fish hot out of the oil will appreciate the brief wait for Fish as It's Fried in Breeding. The fish and fries are dropped seconds after the order, cooked in minutes, and served piping hot with french fries, homemade coleslaw, Dale Hollow-style hushpuppies, and the crinkle cut, golden brown French Fries Breeding Country Mart diners swear. You'll taste the difference in the fish - it's fish with a light coating of cornmeal, not cornmeal flavored with fish. (Sponsored content)
