Wildflowers of KY, ID Please: Five lavender petals, same color stamen

2017-07-02 - Ray Miller Road, N of Mt. Tussell Road, Knifley/Roley area, Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com photo(c).
A first time, quite delightful discovery for us. But haven't yet found the ID, after hours of searching. (We need an app). Linda photographed it on her birthday eve, Saturday, July 1, 2017. So if any knowledgeable Wildflower expert is ready with an ID, I'd be much oblige for the answer. - ED WAGGENER. Critter ID welcome, too.

Comments, conclusions:
  1. April Shepperd Flower with five lavender petals is Bell Flower
  2. Cynthia A. Meyer. Lavender flower looks like Rocket Larkspur
