CIS teachers honored at CU for Excellence in Teaching

Campbellsville Independent Schools School awards were presented at CU's Excellence in Teaching ceremony to Leanna Cundiff, Campbellsville Elementary School; Robbilyn Speer, Campbellsville Middle School; and Tyler Hardy, Campbellsville High School. From left in the photo are: Dr. Donna Hedgepath, vice president for academic affairs; Leanna Cundiff, Campbellsville Elementary School; Robbilyn Speer, Campbellsville Middle School; Tyler Hardy, Campbellsville High School; Elisha Rhodes, principal, Campbellsville Elementary School; Ricky Hunt, principal, Campbellsville Middle School; and Dr. Beverly Ennis, dean of the Campbellsville University School of Education. Cundiff is a kindergarten teacher at Campbellsville Elementary School, where she has worked since 2013. She graduated in 1999 from Taylor County High School. In 2005, she obtained her Bachelor of Elementary Education from Lindsey Wilson College. In 2010, she received a Master in Library Media Education from Western Kentucky University. She is married to Shawn Cundiff and has one child, Evan. Her parents are Glenda and Lynn Colvin from Campbellsville, Ky. Speer teaches eighth grade social studies at Campbellsville Middle School, where she has been working since 2011. She graduated from Campbellsville High School in 2004. Then, she attended Campbellsville University, where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 2009 and 2013, respectively. Her parents are Jan and Robby Speer from Campbellsville, Ky. Hardy is a ninth grade teacher at Campbellsville High School, where he has taught since 2013, and also where he graduated in 2006. He obtained his bachelor of science degree from Campbellsville University in 2012. He is married to McKenzy Hardy. His parents are Lorri and Jim Hardy from Campbellsville, Ky.
