Magistrate Sammy Baker (3), who rarely breaks with fellow budget committee member Magistrate Daryl Flatt (2) on any issue, or with fellow magistrate and first cousin Billy Dean Coffey (5) broke for them to facilitate funding bores under Development Drive in Green River Commerce Park rather than cut trenches. The final vote on the issue: For funding, four: Baker, Harold Burton (1) Greg Caldwell (6), and Perry Reeder (3). Against: Flatt, Coffey, and Terry Hadley. - EW
