Seeing Brown & Brown open the call center in Columbia was a dream come true for Sue Stivers, Executive Director of the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce, on Columbia's trifecta Red Letter Day, with the rolling ribbon cuttings for the Walmart Academy, then the Call Center, and later, for the Sleep Inn & Suites. Looking toward Brown & Brown of KentuckyVice President Mike Neal, who played a pivotal role in both the Call Center and the hotel, she said, "You're homegrown and you came back home."
