Last night the Adair County Extension Council and the Adair County Extension Board met in consecutive sessions at the extension office. Included in the business were oaths of office for new members, from left, Sandra Watts, Secretary; Jane Reed, ex officio and voting member CJE Michael Lee Stephens, and new member Terry Partin. Adair County is one of the few counties where the CJE is a voting member. The photo was taken on a busy night for the CJE's office, with Judge Stephens attending the Extension activities and the Columbia/Adair Utilities District regular January session, and Deputy CJE attending the Columbia/Adair County Parks & Recreation regular meeting at the Blair Center, 901 Hudson Center, Columbia, KY.
