New Year's Eve 9 Years ago: Grand - or Grandiose - plans



2016-12-31 - Westlake Regional Hospital, 901 Westlake Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo Artist drawing from JRA, Louisville, KY.
The caption read: "COLUMBIA'S SKYLINE WILL CHANGE,sometime in the winter of 2008-2009 The drawing above shows Westlake Regional Hospital after third floor is added, as rendered by the architects, JRA, Louisville, KY. The construction time table projects the third floor to be fully enclosed by fall of 2008, and the new addition to be ready for use in fall of 2009. The image was part of a presentation to the Adair County Hospital Board of Trustees at its regular meeting, December 27, 2007." What a difference the years have made.
