George Rice remembers a drier year than 2016 - I

While going through my computer picture album I came across these pictures that reminded me of the dry year of 2008. I am now 83 years old and that was the driest year I’ve ever seen. Many crops was pretty much a failure. Many if not most farm ponds completely dried. Here is my Granddaughter Kyndal Caldwell measuring the opening in the bottom of one of my ponds.
