After a brief minutes-approving Regular Session at 6pmCT, the Columbia Planning & Zoning Commission, with Chairman Joe Flowers, center, presiding and Jada Coomer, P&Z Secretary, presiding reviewed and approved site development plans for two major projects. First they unanimously approved plans for the Lindsey Wilson/VFW Post 6097 building at 500 Greenhills Drive, and then reviewed and approved site plans for the Franklin Mall on Dohoney Trace at Holladay Place. Both sets of plans had been scrutinized by City Engineer Greg Eastham, who approved the drainage plans for both projects. Commissioners present above, are, left, front to back, Gale Rogers and Sue Stivers, and right, Roy Rademacher and George Kolbenschlag. Both project can now proceed, Chair Flowers said. - Ed Waggener
