The Katie Murrell Library at Lindsey Wilson College is busy with activities and this bulletin board, designed by Stephanie Pollitt with involvement of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), showcases the United States Constitution. The DAR founded Constitution Week in 1955 in commemoration of "America's most important document". Their resolution was signed into law on August 2, 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. It is celebrated each fall from September 17-23. Pollitt said that even though the celebration week is coming to a close she is proud to assist students and residents at any time of the year to learn more about our government and provide free copies of the United States Constitution -- pocket size copies. - LW
