The Brocks send copy of Porter Wagoner contract - 1971 - Top

The contract spells out all the pre-show details about the Porter Wagoner show with Dolly Parton. Former Adair County Judge James Brock and his wife Kay Turner Brock, has this copy of the Top Billing Contract. The show was scheduled to be at the Adair County Fairgrounds, Columbia, KY, for 7:30pm to 10:30pm central time, Wednesday, September 22, 1971. Porter Wagoner Show was to "receive top billing or 100% Top Billing in all advertisements.The total cost was $2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars), to be paid in U.S. Dollars to Porter Wagoner or his representative, in cash, upon demand, day of show.
