Adair County High School Football Coach Clay Stephens

2016-08-08 - Indian Stadium, 623 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Wes Feese, Media Relations, Adair County School District.
Coach Clay Stephens meets his first test as coach of the Adair County Football Indians when Adair Co. High School Football opens the 2016 season at Taylor County High School, 300 Ingram Avenue (campus address), Campbellsville, KY, at 7pmCT/8pmET, Friday, August 19, 2016, hoping to build off last season's record-breaking success. He comes to Adair County from Warren Central High School in Bowling Green, KY. Coaching has been a nearly lifelong goal. "I've wanted to be a high school football coach since I was 9 years old," Stephens says. "You're on the sideline under the Friday night lights and the smell of the grills from the parking lot and the band is playing--I just love everything about it." He's a 2008 graduate of Western Kentucky University, where he earned a scholarshop after making the team as a walk-on. - From the full article by Wes Feese.
