2016-07-17 - California, U.S.A. - Photo from Big Al Owens, the Big Rig Trucker. Big Al spotted the fanciest VW he'd ever seen - we'd ever seen, complete with the Three Stooges staring out the back. About that raccoon tail: Some look at this picture and at first think the ornament is attached to the rear window of the car ahead. For some, it takes a while to see that it is attached, as everybody is supposed to use them, on the Beetle Bug's radio antenna. Many Kentuckians have seen mud flaps on vehicles, and a few have seen them on VW bugs, but has anyone ever, ever, seen fender skirts on the rear fenders??? Amazing! But they tell us California is a surprise a minute, and Big Al has proven it. - CM
