Cynthia Meyer documented raging Leatherwood Creek's on Wednesday afternoon. The creek usually runs nice and slow, she observed, with barely a trickle, bringing to mind, she writes the song Charlie Rich made famous, "Keep on Rollin' with the Flow" and adds, The intermittent deluges of rainfall this afternoon Leatherwood Creek would now put you more in mind of Tina Turner's "Proud Mary". (In case you are wondering? No, I did not shuffle off the bridge with the same class and panache as Tina in her stilettos. I merely waddled back to the vehicle in my slippery wet Crocs!! - -Cynthia A. Meyer)
