Councilman Lasley makes motion on employee pay raises

Council Member Craig Lasley, far right, took the lead in the special called meeting Thursday, June 23, 2016, to give pay raises to City employees in the amount of seventy-five cents per hour. His motion was seconded by Councilmember Mark Harris. The vote was 5-1 with Council Member Craig Dean, third from right, voting no to that specific amount, but adding later, a comment showing unanimity, that he was very okay with the higher figure.
