Special Called School Board Meeting Mon 20 Jun 2016

Chairman Floyd Burton, head of table, presided at the special called meeting of the Adair County School Board on Monday, June 20, 2016, with representatives of the Branscum Construction Company, the construction manager, and Sherman Carter Barnhart, the architects, for the new Adair Transportation Complex, four at foot of table, foreground, to resolve issues over delays, payments, and possible liquidated damages and to make a formal turnover of the facility to the district. All of the issues were worked out, save possible liquidated damages - left for a future meeting. Included at the meeting in addtion to architect and construction manager representatives were Superintendent Alan W. Reed, Board Attorney Jeff Hoover, Board Member Quin Lasley, (Floyd Burton), Board Members Mike Harris, Lisa Burton and Terry Harvey, and Adair County Schools Maintenance Director David Jones. - EW
