Lindsey Wilson Water Tower: Like a ride at the County Fair

2016-06-16 - Lindsey Wilson Campus, Young Street side, Columbia, KY - Photo by George Kolbenschlag.

I did not get a chance to talk with the ride operator today, but I believe itís about ready to hoist the curtains so it can be sand blasted. Itís gotta be hot working up there. My understanding is they are planning on about eight weeks to complete the tower painting. - George Kolbenschlag. At the Thursday meeting of the Columbia/Adair Utilities District (CAUD), GM Lenny Stone and Commissioner Mike Newton confirmed that sandblasting is expected to start this morning, Friday, June 10, 2016. - CM
