Travel: A fake New York

2016-06-14 - 5515 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Photo by Pen.

This fake version of the streets of New York on the Paramount lot has been used for movies such as Breakfast at Tiffany's and the cafe scene from the 4th Indiana Jones installment. It's even rigged for "environmental effects," like rain-on-demand. Even though all the bricks are fake and the facades are empty, the only real tell is the palm trees in the background.
