RIDES V - Harry Mack, Polaris Slingshot

Harry & Delores Mack have had this attention getting ride, a Polaris Slingshot SL, for about a year now. As a matter of fact, the vehicle gets almost more attention than he is comfortable with sometimes. The photo at left is of owner Harry Mack. The one on the right, is a rear shot, is a rear shot to show its motorcycle heritage. It's almost a car, in Kentucky and some other states, it's licensed as a motorcycle, but some state DMVs require auto registration. It's powered by a GM Eco-Tec engine. Gas Mileage is 28 MPG. There are aftermarket tops for the Slingshot; none are available from Polaris. Does it turn heads? You bet, Harry has had people hang out of moving car windows to get a better photo of his Slingshot.
