Finally, work resumes on Heartland Parkway

Larry Smith, General manager of the Big Dawg, 99.9 FM and the WAVE, 92.7 FM, writes: "Happy to see construction work on the Columbia Bypass to Taylor County line stretch of the Heartland Parkway has resumed after six weeks. Haven't learned all the details on why, or what the new specifications are - hope they have not been compromised - but the Heartland is important to this region, for those of us who regularly commute this stretch of road, but also to the growth of South Central Kentucky.
