Grabites at the Green Co., KY Public Library

2016-03-28 - Green County Public Lirbary, 112 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY - Photo By Ed and Linda Waggener.
When one is wondering about anything in Green County and beyond, a great place to start asking is at the Green County Public Library. Curious about Grab, KY, were delighted to find that the library has three "Grabites" who have roots in that special community and can direct wannabe Grabites with their unique knowledge of the community. From left are: Missy Lee Curry, Library Manager; Sheila Davenport, Circulation Clerk; and Shelley Davis Pruitt, Library Director. And the great thing about them is that what they don't know about Grab they will refer visitors to Jerry Arnett (and tell one the proper pronounciation of "Arn-it,"} who is a walking encyclopedia of all things Grab. Arnett's Jerry's Trading Post has a rare collection of Grab history and artifacts and is a center of community activities. The Green County Public Library is located just off the Greensburg Public Square, at 112 W Court Street. The hours Mon-Tue-Thu-Friday, 8:30am-4:30CT and Wed & Sat, 8:30am-12pmNoonCT.
