The Adair County School Board, in its regular session Thu 18 Mar 2016, declared this decades old building surplus and approved a plan, presented by Buildings & Grounds Superintendent David Jones, to have razed starting at the end of the 2015-2016 school year. The new Adair County Transportation Complex lacks on paving, installation of lights, and minor punch list items to be ready, now. Paving is scheduled for Mon 21 Mar 2016. The timing is scheduled to accommodate the baseball season and an orderly transition from the old facility to the new one. - EW. Paired photo.
