Adair water board, CAUD, trustees get back to business

2016-03-16 - Columbia/Adair Utilities District (CAUD), 109 Grant Lane, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
Columbia-Adair County Utilities District General Manager Lenny Stone presided over the Special Regular Meeting of the utilities board on Tuesday evening, March 14, 2016, with Wid Harris, newly appointed by the Public Service Commision to take the seat previously held by Rudy Higginbotham, attending his first meeting. Around the table, clockwise from left are Commissioner Barry Stotts, Harris, Stone, Commissioner Mike Newton, and Commissioner David Jones. Because it was a special called meeting, only items on the agenda could be addressed. Commissioner Newton admonished the board to get down to business, saying that the board had not accomplished anything in the past four years, and it was time to get down to business.
