Rainy weather waterfalls along Melson Ridge Road

2016-03-14 - Melson Ridge Road, Magisterial District 3, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, CM.
It's seasonal, only during and following heavier rains, such as the ones on Sunday, March 13, 2016, but this charming waterfall was just one of the lovely sites along Melson Ridge Road, KY 3265, between Inroad and Cundiff. Yesterday volunteer daffodils were in full boom along the way. Forsythia was beginning to show. Plum thickets were more in evidence. and I'm happy to say, I saw the first noticeable redbud making a show. The little falls is approximately one mile away from a year round falls, on Machine Branch, on land owned by Billy Bloyd. (Machine Branch Falls in winter by Bob Burt). - EW
