Elbow Tree: Bault Farm, West Egypt Road, Columbia, KY

2016-02-22 - Bault Farm, Just off Holmes Bend Road, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
This fabulous tree may or may not be the one Steve Cheatham had in mind when he gave a guess that the Mystery Elbow Tree was on the Bault Farm in Adair County, but we couldn't wait to get a photo he thought was the one in the CM mystery. The portion of the trunk on the right does bear a striking resemblance to the one in the puzzle. But taken in larger context, this may belong to a whole other genre of delightful dying tree art, somewhat mammoth mantis or dinosaur like. Imagination can run wild. To get a look at the original tree in question, see Where in the World Is It: Elbow Tree beside the road???
