God's Beautiful Creation

2015-12-02 - Greensburg, Green County, KY - Photo by Don Neat.
By Don Neat

Cast your eyes upon The Green River as it travels through Green County in route to the Ohio River. The Green must have gone by way of the Neatsville Hole to gain such pristine beauty.

Ronnie Grant and I spent, in our teenage years, many a happy hour wading Green River anywhere from the Beaver Pond Hole up towards Pellyton to the Rock Fence Hole in the Little Cake area. I may need to contact Ronnie and see if we might go back to the Neatsville Hole just one more time and wet a line in hope of seeing a small mouth bass coming up and doing a little dance before diving back in. Time well spent!!!

Mr. Norville Farris once told me that a man's memory is a wonderful thing. How true!

Picture was taken November 23, 2015, from the bridge just below the American Legion Park in Green County. - Don Neat
