ACHS student Natalie Taylor leads ACES G&T investigation

Adair County High school student Natalie Taylor is leading the investigation with Gifted and Talented students, too. She is helping 5th grader, Rachel Brown, collect soil samples for comparison. This lesson is being led by their facilitator and Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Candice Flatt. The simulation evidence will later be used to identify and distinguish among a variety of other soil samples from different parts of the United States. The activity is a part of a month long project that uses math, science, and higher level questioning to solve a mystery.
