Squirrel: Fat and sleek for winter

This squirrel almost posed to have its picture taken, allowing five shots without serious protest. It was playing along the side of the road, just a few yards from the future site of Adair County's next bridge construction, and about .25 mile from Tarter's Chapel United Methodist Church on KY 768. It's a badly needed span in Magistrate Billy Dean Coffey's District 5. The narrow scenic road has perhaps a dozen or more houses on the far side of the branch. - Ed Waggener
