HGR is ready for 2015 Fall Festival

Homeplace on Green River stands ready for Saturday's fall heritage festival. All that’s needed now are the animals, rides, vendors, food, music, re-enactors, games, other attractions and of course, people out for a fun day. The weather looks like it’s going to be something the chamber of commerce ordered. Homeplace is a joint effort of Adair, Green and Taylor counties to restore an early Kentucky farm first settled in 1804. The original home still stands. It is an all-volunteer effort. Homeplace on Green River Fall Festival is Saturday, September 12, 2015. Gate opens 8amCT/9amET with last activities beginning 3pmCT/4pmET.
