Code Red Alert Upgrade

2015-08-13 - 107 N High Street, Columbia, KY - Photo from Mike Keltner, Adair County Emergency Management Director. National Weather Service Map . The Adair County Fiscal Court, meeting Tue 11 Aug 2015, approved a recommendation by Mike Keltner, Emergency Management Director, to upgrade the Code Red Alert with enhancements including automatic storm warning messaging, and "levels of service" for citizens to opt out of some messages. Keltner told the court that the changeover can be made on the current contract, and that, on renewal, the county will save $400-600 per year vs. current rates on the older system.
