Crowd gathers for unveiling of MLK Boulevard signs

It was billed as an semi-invitation only event, but a large crowd was gathering early this morning at Blake Hatcher's garden center on Burkesville Road for the unveiling of signs designating the road from the Columbia-Union Presbyterian Church to Exit 47 on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway in honor of the great American Civil Rights leader, Martin Luther King. on the far left are, second from left, Columbia City Councilman Charles Grimsley and his wife, Adair County Deputy Judge Executive Holly Grimsley.
