Adair CJE Stephens with Sheriff Moss and Casey CJE Randy Dial

2015-07-15 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, CM photo.
Adair County Judge Michael Stephens, left, and Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss, posed for a picture Casey County Judge Executive Randy Dial. Judge Dial was a guest of Judge Stephens, as the Adair County Court accepted an Adair County Road, Eunice Spur Road off Dunnville Road, which had maintained by Casey County for a period of perhaps 50 years, into the Adair road system. Today's officials are unsure how the road got into the Casey County System, but Judge Stephens told last night's Fiscal Court gathering he apprecieated it and was sure Adair County had reciprocated in some way. Judge Dial is a native of Adair County, KY, who lived in Adair County a brief time before his family moved to Casey County, where he grew up. (Trivia note: three county judges in three counties in a row, are all Adair County natives - Adair CJE Stephens, from Garlan, CJE Randy Dial, from Pelham Branch/Hutchison,; and Boyle CJE Harold McKinney, from Garlan/Vester. Judge Dial said that Casey County, however, has at least four County School Districts who are Casey County natives, including Supt. Alan Reed of Adair County.) - EW. Photo
