Scenic Cumberland Co., KY: Still some Best Kept Secrets

The signs into Burkesville no longer herald "Kentucky's Best Kept Secret," but there are still hidden, almost secret places on every road. Surprisingly, not every resident of the county seat is aware of the treasures almost within hollering distance. This picturesque farm is on Scotts Bottom Road. To put the location in perspective, as best as we learned from a Burkesvillian who has been all over the county, "If you went over that bluff (in the background) you would be over on KY 61 on the new stretch of road past the Salem Park Bridge as you were coming toward Burkesville, from Breeding, KY." - CM
