Where in the World??? Distinctive carvings in weathered wood

2015-05-23 - Not in Adair, but somewhere in one of the other counties in the world of Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell or Taylor Counties of South Central Kentucky. - Photo by Linda Waggener.
It's right by a major highway, in one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. It's obvious, but with so many natural distractions, we've passed it by many times before discovering it one day this year. If you know: Where It Is, What it is. Any significant information about it to share, please let us know and we'll pass it on, as appropriate, to CM readers. We'll go back that way, one day, just to revisit, when we have more knowledge to greater appreciate it. And we hope others will, too. It's a great long lunch hour day trip for Adair Countians (where it is not), and a worthy, but longer day trip for others in the CM 7 County area. We'll do our best to get a wrap up the information we get by tomorrow. - LINDA & ED
