Primary Election, 19 May 2015: Calling out votes

2015-05-19 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
Calling out the votes as each precinct comes in and reports on primary results. At the table, from left, clockwise, Election Commissioners Billy Curry (Republican), Ben Loy (Democrat), Sheriff Harrison Moss, Sheila Blair, County Clerk Lisa Lee. At right, County Clerk Deputies Vicki Hodges and Macy Feese enter information from chips brought in from each precinct and enter them into a new computer installed by Clerk Lisa Lee. In scant minutes a printer spit out 10 printouts for the the tabulators at the table and Adair County's fierce watchdog media outlets. It was one of the most eventul tabulations ever, starkly contrasting with November 3, 2014 General Election, still under intense scrutiny, and still not fully decided. - ED WAGGENER.
