Stage of Construction: Stream project Campbellsville & Fairground Streets

Construction workers put in a long day today while contract trackhoe operators were on the scene at the stream redirection project at the intersection of Campbellsville Road and Fairground Street. The project is aimed at improving safety - eliminating an open, Greyhound bus size ditch parallel to Campbellsville Street - greatly reducing flooding on Campbellsville Street and the businesses in the area, and making the area more attractive. It was initiated by former State Senator Sara Beth Gregory.
