Hailey with mom and friendly Good Neigh Bear

2015-05-11 - Louisville Zoo, 1100 Trevilian Way, Louisville, KY - Photo by Pen.
Hailey was completely at ease with her Mom and The Good Neigh Bear at the Louisville Zoo. Not so apprehensive as she was when she left Campbellsville University, Friday night, May 8, 2015, after helping her Mema get through graduation, and announcing "Mema! Mema!" for the benefit of a packed Ransdell Chapel, which might have remained ignorant of that main reason for the event. After taking photos of the family and boarding the Pathfinder for the return home to Shelby County, KY, at twilight, she gave her Mema one last word of advice: "Watch out for the posta-ossums!" We did, but didn't see any of the scary night creatures along the way back to Columbia. But Hailey spotted on on KY 555, and another on Saturday. It was in her playhouse, she said, and told her mother, "I will shoot that." She was at the zoo, above, to cheer Graham in the 5K "Through the Zoo" run Saturday. - Granddad, ED WAGGENER
