Happy beginning? The start of another beautiful friendship

2015-03-24 - Green River Animal Shelter, 155 Appleby Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
It looks very much like we might have a new member of the Waggener family. "Red," his animal shelter name, had pretty well won over Doug Waggener, my nephew, when this photo was taken. Didn't stay to see all the credits, but this dog, with its white markings and stunning red color, just may be the most handsome one they had - and it had a disposition to match. We'll know the final verdict the next report we receive from Shelter Director Kim Sallee, Green River Animal Shelter at 270-385-9655 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-5pmCT and Saturdays 10am-2pmCT. Phone 270-572-9943 after hours. -ED WAGGENER.
