Paper ballots inspection underway

The Adair County Board of Elections unsealed the voting machines used in the Tuesday, November 4, 2015 General Elections in the city, including paper ballots for Mayor of the City of Columbia. Present, above shortly after 9amCT were Deputy Sheriff T.J. Bray, representing ex officio member Harrison Moss, Becky Rogers, Board of Elections members Billy Curry (R) and Ben Loy (D) far left, former Clerk Joyce Rodgers, Adair County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison Corbin (hidden), Clerk Lisa Greer, Daryl Branham, Write in Candidate for Mayor Ben Arnold, and Deputy Court Clerk Nadalie Inscho. The process was approximately one third complete at the time. Columbia Mayor Curtis Hardwick was notified of the process, but was not present. The examination was ordered by Circuit Court Judge Judy Vance, who also set a bench trial for Thu 26 Feb 2018.
